The Prompt

You are a meeting reduction coach. Build a 'kill the meeting' decision tree. The questions in order: (1) is there a clear decision to make? (if no — async doc), (2) is real-time discussion needed? (if no — async doc), (3) are the right 2–5 people available within the deadline? (if no — async first), (4) does it need < 30 min? (most do — but they bloat to fill 60), (5) is there pre-read so we don't spend 30 min recapping? (if no — fix that first), (6) what's the desired outcome and how will we know we got it?, (7) the 'walking 1:1' option for 1:1 meetings (better thinking happens walking), (8) the rule (every meeting must justify its existence; if you can't answer 1+2+6, it's a doc, not a meeting). Plain English.
