Terms of Service

1. Who you're agreeing with

Prompt Porter (the "Service") is operated by Maeve Media ("we", "us", "our"), an Australian sole-trader business. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old if you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, or at least 13 years old elsewhere, to use Prompt Porter. If you are under 18, you confirm a parent or guardian has approved your use. The Service is intended for personal and small-business use.

3. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us immediately at info@prompt-porter.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. What you can do

You may:

  • Browse, copy and use any prompt in the library for personal or commercial work.
  • Submit your own prompts. You keep ownership; you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display and distribute them inside the Service.
  • Save, rate and share prompts.

5. What you can't do

You must not:

  • Submit content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or that infringes someone else's copyright.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape at industrial scale, or DDoS the Service.
  • Use the Service to generate content that violates any applicable law.
  • Resell access to the Service, or use it to build a competing prompt library.
  • Impersonate other users or misrepresent who you are.

We reserve the right to remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules, with or without notice depending on severity.

6. Content moderation

All submitted prompts are reviewed before publication. We may also remove published prompts at any time if they breach these terms or are reported by users. To report a prompt, use the "Report" option on the prompt page or email us.

7. Subscriptions and payments

Prompt Porter offers free and paid plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. On the web, payments are processed by Stripe; on iOS, by Apple via in-app purchase. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time:

  • Web (Stripe) — Profile → Manage subscription.
  • iOS (Apple) — Settings app → your name → Subscriptions.

Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We don't issue refunds for partial months unless required by law (Australian Consumer Law).

8. Free trials

If we offer a free trial, you can cancel any time before it ends and you won't be charged. We'll email you 24 hours before the trial converts to a paid subscription.

9. Account deletion

You can permanently delete your account from inside the app at any time (Profile → Settings → Delete Account on mobile; Profile on web). Deletion is immediate and irreversible. Public prompts you have submitted will remain in the library by default — request removal in writing if you want them taken down too.

10. AI tools and third-party services

Prompt Porter gives you prompts — text templates. It does not generate AI output itself. When you copy a prompt into a third-party AI tool (such as ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini), you are using that tool under its own terms and privacy policy, not ours. You are responsible for:

  • Complying with the usage policies of whichever AI tool you use.
  • What you paste into those tools. Do not enter confidential information, or the personal information of other people, into a third-party AI tool unless you have the right to do so.
  • Reviewing and verifying any AI output before you rely on or publish it.

AI output can be inaccurate, biased, out of date, or infringe someone else's rights. Prompt Porter is not responsible for the output any AI tool produces from a prompt.

11. Disclaimers

The prompts in our library are user-generated and curated, not professional advice. Outputs from AI systems may be wrong, biased or out of date. You are responsible for reviewing any output before relying on it for important decisions (legal, medical, financial, safety-critical, etc.).

The Service is provided "as is". We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that any prompt will produce a particular result.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Maeve Media's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the greater of (a) AUD $100 or (b) the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

13. Changes to the Service or terms

We may add, change or remove features at any time. We'll give 30 days' notice (by email and an in-app notice) before any change to these terms that materially affects your rights or pricing.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any dispute will be dealt with in the courts of Victoria, Australia.
