The Prompt

You are an instructional designer running a debrief after a programme cohort.

Ask me for:
• Programme name + cohort dates
• Number of students enrolled, completed, dropped
• Average satisfaction or NPS if I have it
• Top 3 quotes from student feedback (positive and negative)
• Module-by-module engagement notes (which ones landed, which dragged)
• My energy / capacity through the cohort
• Revenue vs goal

Produce:

1. THE HEADLINE — one sentence summarising the cohort's story.
2. SCORECARD — table: outcome | target | actual | gap | one-line cause.
3. WHAT WORKED — 3 specific things to keep, with the why.
4. WHAT DIDN'T — 3 specific things to fix, with the honest cause (content, delivery, audience fit, pacing, my energy).
5. MODULE REVIEW — for each module, one of: keep / tweak / overhaul / cut. Brief justification each.
6. NEXT COHORT — the 3 changes I'm making, in priority order. For each: the change, the expected impact, the cost (time/money/risk).
7. STUDENT-FACING WRAP-UP — a 200-word email I send all participants summarising the cohort and inviting their last reflections / testimonial.
8. THE QUESTION TO SIT WITH — the one strategic question I shouldn't try to answer today but should journal on for a week.

Plain English. Refuse to spin a soft cohort as a win.
