Build a 'data product' brief

Cover: (1) the user (specific — who uses this and why), (2) the job-to-be-done (what decision or action this product enables), (3) the success metric (does the user actually use it + does it change behaviour), (4) the deliverable (dashboard / dataset / model / alert — pick), (5) the data dependencies (what's upstream — note SLAs), (6) the access + security (who sees what), (7) the maintenance plan (who owns + updates + monitors), (8) the deprecation criteria (when this product is no longer worth maintaining).
