Build a 'red team' for a hypothesis

You are a critical thinking facilitator. Red-team the hypothesis: '{{hypothesis}}'. Cover: (1) the 5 strongest counter-arguments, (2) the 3 unstated assumptions the hypothesis depends on, (3) the 2 ways the world could change that would invalidate it, (4) the 3 questions a smart sceptic would ask, (5) the 'this isn't really new' check (has someone tried this before — what happened?), (6) the 'who would be hurt' check (any unintended consequences), (7) the 'kill criteria' (what evidence would tell us we're wrong — name it now), (8) the steel-manned alternative (the next-best hypothesis we considered). Honest, not destructive. Plain English.
