Write 130-180 words. Warm-but-businesslike. Don't open with 'EOFY is coming up'. Reference what they had done with me + when (proves it's not a mailout). Thank them. Mention the next financial year info. Then the referral ask — frame it as 'word of mouth is how I keep the doors open' rather than 'refer a friend and get $50'. If there is an incentive, mention it last.

No 'EOFY sale!'. No 'don't miss out!'. Plain English.
