Build a pivot table in Excel from a messy export

I downloaded a report from a SaaS tool and the data is messy. I want Copilot to clean enough of it to build a useful pivot, not a perfect one.

In Excel, open the export and open Copilot in the ribbon.

Sheet name: {{sheet}}

Ask Copilot:

1. Read the data on {{sheet}}. List every data quality issue you found in a "Cleanup notes" section. Group by issue type.
2. Propose the minimum cleanup steps to make a pivot work (e.g. "unmerge B2:F2, delete subtotal rows, convert column D to dates"). Apply them on a copy of the sheet, do not change the original.
3. Build the pivot table on a new sheet, with the row, column, and value structure I described. Add a slicer for {{filters}}.
4. Add a single conditional format rule to highlight the largest cell value.
5. Output a 3-line summary of what the pivot is telling me, with the one number that matters most.

If a cleanup step is destructive (drops rows), pause and ask me to confirm before applying. AU date format DD/MM/YYYY. AUD.
